TANNER FOUST WINS 2019 AMERICAS RALLYCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP

10.6.19

It was a victorious day in Mid-Ohio as Tanner Foust was crowned as the 2019 Americas Rallycross Champion. With a dominate second half of the season, Foust captured two wins, 15 heat race wins and three podium finishes in ARX’s sophomore season.

Foust and Andretti Rallycross quickly learned the steep depth of competition in the 2019 paddock but that didn’t stop the team from battling forward for an impressive second half of the season. After earning a podium at Round 3 of competition at ARX of Gateway, Foust continued on to win Rounds 4 and 5 at Trios-Rivieres and Circuit of the Americas. Foust, alongside rookie teammate, Cabot Bigham, handed the team a special podium north of the border in Canada when the pair finished first and second, respectively.

Over the course of his career with Andretti Rallycross, Foust has captured 17 wins, 12 pole positions and 27 podium finishes since 2014. Foust’s 2019 title is the fifth-consecutive U.S. Rallycross championship for Andretti Rallycross and the third for Foust.
